Lucky Days tells the story of Virginia (Angelica Torn) and her quest for freedom during the last summer of Coney Island's historic amusement park.

 

A chance encounter with her childhood sweetheart (Luke Zarzecki) stimulates Virginia to discover hidden truths about her boyfriend (Frederico Castelluccio) and her neighborhood that she had previously chosen to ignore.

 

Over the last explosive weekend of the summer, she must decide whether to abandon everything she's ever known to the wolf pack of developers buying up and tearing down the boardwalk, or to sacrifice herself to the world that created her.

 

...which path will you take when the only life you know is teetering on the brink of extinction?
